Welcome to San Tan Valley Palms

Nothing evokes the feeling of the tropics like palm trees but it's difficult to get a truly tropical feel in the harsh desert climate of Arizona. It would seem there are very few palm trees that can survive the harsh climate of the lower desert regions of Arizona. Because of this I sought to find a greater variety of palms that would not only evoke the feeling of the tropics but would also thrive. The big box stores offer three to four varieties of palms that will do well in our difficult conditions. Even the local nurseries offer only a few different varieties, leaving one wanting for more. I came to realize I would have to raise them myself. As I started to grow some of these different varieties I gained a desire to share this variety with others. Thus, San Tan Valley Palms was born.
